The Office of the Attorney General opened an investigation into Criminal Investigation Team members belonging to the sectional Office in Bogotá who allegedly granted non authorized benefits to the mayor of Yopal (Casanare), Jhon Jairo Torres, who remains in custody.
These alleged irregular activities took place in a jail located in the the so called “Complejo Judicial de Paloquemao” where he is confined. Activities which are forbidden by the penitentiary code such as Parties, barbecues and non-authorized visits were allegedly carried out.
