A prosecutor from the Branch Office in Bogotá began an investigation in order to clear up the murder of Miguel Ángel Barbosa, a student from Universidad Distrital.
Facts occurred on April 21st during a strike in which students from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (Technological Southern Branch) were involved. As a result, he suffered a serious traumatic brain injury.
A prosecutor belonging to an URI* located at the so called neighborhood Ciudad Bolivar began the respective investigation on body injuries. Likewise an interdisciplinary group was created. This group is composed of experts from different areas of criminology that will support this investigation.
