Interim Attorney General Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres stated when he referred to the situation of Colombian prisons: “the Colombian State abandoned its inmates so many years ago”.
He talked about the subhuman conditions in prisons and he highlighted the matter of urgency to adopt the respective measures to solve this situation, which according to senior official, is unacceptable.
