Based on an investigation which was conducted by the Office of the Attorney General and the Antinarcotic Unit from the Colombian National Police, members of that judicial police with the support of Navy divers seized 98 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride that were distributed in three packages and submerged in the Atlantic Sea in Santa Marta (Magdalena) at Pozos Colorados sector.

Despite the fact that there were no arrests, a human source provided information that indicated that this substance belonged to a transnational criminal structure that was engaged in drug trafficking activities from Colombia to European countries and was dismantled in June 24th after 25 of its members were arrested.
