The Office of the Attorney General brought charges against five inmates for crimes against public safety

The Office of the Attorney General brought charges against five (5) alleged members of the so called “Clan Úsuga” in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) before the 3^rd Municipal Court in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) with supervisory functions (Control de garantías).

According to the investigation, the defendants who remain in prison for other crimes, are part of the criminal gang “Clan Úsuga” which carried out their criminal activities such as: homicides, forced disappearances and extortions at the so called “Comuna 12” in Buenaventura.
