Interim Attorney General, Jorge Fernando Perdomo and the Head for the Criminal Investigation Team CTI, Julián Quintana, inaugurated first Computer Forensics Laboratory for the Office of the Attorney General. More than 5 billion pesos were invested.
This laboratory has specialized and cutting-edge technology to process and store any kind of digital evidence. This laboratory was divided into three big sections: forensic images, mobile devices and expertises.
There is an advanced security system and the Computer Crimes Unit´s special equipment which controls static electricity to avoid any risk of altering evidence.
