A request concerning rationalizing preventive detention orders and enforcing law was made by the National Director of the Criminal Investigation Team (Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación (CTI)) Julián Quintana before Congress.
Quintana expressed his position before the First Commission of Senate in which a political discussion about the penitentiary crisis in Colombia was carried out.
Senior Official made an appeal for enforcing law in Colombia, rationalizing preventive detentions orders and working in articulate manner with other state institutions on a comprehensive policy to assure an efficient penitentiary system and a Law Enforcement that meets country´s needs.
