First conviction for a man who admitted to having killed 16 women in a mountain known as Monserrate in the city of Bogotá

The 53rd Circuit Court in Bogotá sentenced Fredy Armando Valencia Vargas to 9 years and 5 months in prison for aggravated murder of the 26 year old woman María del Pilar Rincón.

The above mentioned woman died since she denied to have sexual relations with him.
