Human remains of a person who disappeared 22 years ago were handed over to his mother

The Exhumations Team from the Office of the Attorney General will hand over in December 17^th the human remains of a 29 years old male who was exhumed in august 2012 at the cemetery (Cementerio Municipal de La Macarena (Meta)).

According to the victim´s mother, his son disappeared in 1993 when he was 13 years old in the rural area of Mapiripán (Meta). She said: “he went out to play soccer with his friends and he never came back. I asked his friends and they told me that armed guerilla men took him away”.
