In accordance to a commitment to the indigenous communities from the Department of Chocó due to an initiative promoted by the Colombian Deputy Attorney Jorge Fernando Perdomo, the Commission on indigenous matters (Comisión de Asuntos Indígenas) and the Sectional Office in Chocó carried out two sessions in order to receive criminal complaints from citizens in Istmina and Quibdó exclusively addressed to indigenous communities with the aim to know any issue that is affecting the aboriginal community in terms of justice.
Leaders, advisers, teachers, victims from ethnic organizations such as Woundeko Association, Oich Organization and Federewa Organization Attended these sessions led by the Director of the Sectional Office in Chocó, Edison Alberto Booder Valencia. A total of 30 people attended the event.
