Nine members of the criminal gang “El Coco” were sentenced in Medellin

The 4^th Specialized Circuit Court in Medellín sentenced 9 members of the criminal gang El Coco which operates in the so called neighborhood Comuna Trece in the city of Medellin (Antioquia).

According to the investigation which was conducted by the office of the Attorney General this criminal gang operates since 2010 at neighborhoods, such as Santa Lucía, Los Alcázares, El Coco and Santa Rosa de Lima. They committed extortions, drug trafficking offenses, selective murders, forced displacements, among others.
