Another alleged member of the criminal gang “Los Chigüiros” was arrested for drug trafficking offenses in Maicao

The 1^st Local Prosecutor from the so called Estructura de Apoyo (EDA) in coordination with Sijin investigators were able to determine, through cases association, the existence of a criminal gang denominated “Los Chigüiros” which was engaged in micro drug trafficking.

Three alleged members of this criminal gang were prosecuted and they remain under custody.

Also, in February 17, Sijin (National Police) members in Barranquilla (Atlántico) arrested Heiner Eliécer Gómez Gutierrez in that city since he allegedly was a member of the criminal gang “Los Chigüiros”.
