The 38th Municipal Judge in Medellín with supervisory functions (control de garantías) issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment against Juan Diego Durango Henao, alias Gogo; Andrés Felipe Ortiz Yepes, alias Pipe, and José Wladimir Montoya Mejía for kidnapping and demanding a ransom of 300 million pesos for a businessman in Medellin.
Facts took place last September 25, 2015 at Robledo neighborhood in Medellin when the victim was held as a hostage during 9 hours in order to ask him for money related to an alleged debt. The victim was released but they took his car in order to coerce payment.
