Members of Gaula from National Police arrested at the request of a specialized prosecutor from Quibdó, the 41 years old elected mayor from the municipality of Lloró, Hencil Correa Rentería, also known as Chano, at the airport Álvaro Rey Zúñiga from that city for his alleged participation in a Kidnapping for ransom.
The arrest warrant which was issued by the third Municipal Judge with supervisory functions (control de garantías) derives from an investigation that was conducted by the Office of the Attorney General. It could be established that Correa Rentería would allegedly be the perpetrator of facts occurred in May 2012 when the ELN Manuel Hernández El Boche Front kidnapped the businessman Carlos Ramón Cogoyo Álvarez in rural area of Lloró.
