After one year of investigation, a criminal network that manufactured, adulterated, distributed and commercialized medicines or pharmaceutical products was dismantled. This investigation was coordinated by a prosecutor assigned to Regional Office in Bogotá belonging to the Unit (in Spanish Estructura de Apoyo) in cooperation with Sijin.
As a result of the operation, 26 of the 37 arrest warrants issued by a supervisory judge (juez de garantías) have been conducted in Bogotá.
