A house arrest was issued by the 12th Municipal Criminal Judge with supervisory functions (Control de Garantías) in Bolívar against the mayor of Zambrano region, Sebastián Carlos Cañas Asís, legal adviser Juan Isacc Martínez Contreras and Treasurer Milena Patricia Angulo Miranda for the commission of corruption of eligible voters, fraud concerning identity card´s registration and intervention in politics.
