In a hearing concerning the former Comptroller´s General Sandra Morelli Rico, the 10th Delegate Prosecutor before the Supreme Court reproached the magistrate´s approval* of the former Official´s participation in the hearing through an internet video call.
Prosecutor Carlos Iván Mejía stated that this kind of participation was due to “awful precedents” that have occurred in regard to Morelli Rico´s appearances before the court and that is why she was charged with contempt of court.
