The 32nd Municipal Criminal Judge in Medellin, with supervisory functions (Control de Garantías) issued preventive detention orders with home confinement against four National Police officers for selling gasoline of the official vehicles.
Officers Sergio Enrique Caro Varela, Franklin Polo Torres, Germán Augusto Arboleda Roldán and Víctor Exiquio Quinto Waldo allegedly extracted gasoline from the vehicles and sold it to other public transportation drivers. This preventive detention order also concerns private individuals Luis Fernando Cuervo Castaño and Jonathan Rafael González Ortega who allegedly participated in this activity.
