The Office of the Attorney General declared as an outstanding case* the murder of a LGBT activist member and it will be taken into account during the Day in which violence against transgender people is remembered

The Office of the Attorney General regrets the murder of Guillermo Garzón Andrade, defender of Transgender people and LGBT in general, and sends a condolences message to his relatives, friends and coworkers.

Upon learning about his murder, the investigation that is under the coordination of  an Office  in Bogotá  (Dirección Seccional de Bogotá) has been monitored and therefore, a Legal and technical Committee was scheduled in order to analyze in detail the investigative proceedings that will be carried out for a successful investigation.
