Two criminal organizations which recruited women under false pretenses to be prostituted in Asia and Bogotá were dismantled

10 people who belonged to two criminal gangs engaged in trafficking women to prostitute them in Bogotá and Asia were arrested as a result of an operative carried out in several cities of the country by the Office of the Attorney General and the Colombian National Police.

The first case was in Cartago, Buga, Valle del Cauca, and Pereira ( Department of  Risaralda). These group of seven detainees trafficked women to China and Singapore. Up to now, seven of the victims have been located by the Office of the Attorney General and their repatriation is on course.
