The Office of the Attorney General conducted a judicial examination for alleged environmental damages to the wetland nature reserve called “Humedal de La Conejera”

The Office of the Attorney General conducted judicial examinations to determine if the wetland nature reserve called “Humedal de La Conejera” located in Suba town, north western area of Bogotá is suffering environmental damages.

A Delegate Prosecutor before the Supreme Court, two (2) prosecutors belonging to Environmental Team ( in spanish Eje temático de Medio Ambiente), CTI Judicial Police investigators, two (2) chemists, a forest specialist, an environmental engineer, a civil engineer are conducting  this judicial examination.

The purpose of this proceeding is to collect evidentiary material in order to establish whether there are irregular conducts concerning the awarding of the building permit in the area, as well as, damages caused by other possible means.
