Eight members belonging to a transnational criminal organization engaged in drug trafficking were sent to prison

Eight people who were alleged members of a transnational criminal organization engaged in drug trafficking were sent to prison pursuant decision made by  the 35^th Municipal Criminal Court with supervisory functions in Medellin (Antioquia).

According to the investigation conducted by the 40 Prosecutor´s Office from the Specialized National Directorate in Antinarcotics and Money Laundering, this organization trafficked high quality marijuana (cripy type) by coordinating its sea transportation in go-fast boats from Centro America through countries like  Panamá, Costa Rica and  México to the United States as its final destination.
