The 1st Municipal Criminal Judge in Turbaco with supervisory functions* issued a preventive detention order with home confinement against Eder Jhon Figueroa Rentería for the alleged irregularities in the sale of the liquor factory Fábrica de Licores del Chocó former headquarters.
The complaint was filed by the Departmental Assembly in Chocó in year 2012 when it came to notice that the property´s sale was not made through a call for public bid as stated by law.
*In this case theJudge also has an additional function which is called in Spanish “juez ambulante” which means a judge who travels or moves throughout places/cities where he/she is required to fulfill his/her duties as a judge.
