During a preliminary hearing before a Municipal Criminal Court in Barranquilla, acting as a supervisory judge “juez control de garantías”, detentions concerning eight (8) alleged members belonging to the so called “Los Depredadores” criminal organization were legalized. They were engaged in procuring minors and using or providing means of communication to offer sexual services with minors under 18 years old.
