After the court approved the plea bargain between the defendant’s attorney and the prosecutor, a judge hearing the case “juez de conocimiento” in Cúcuta sentenced Víctor Nelson Mora Ríos to 21 years in prison for being the alleged responsible for the murder of Jonathan Cárdenas Aponte which occurred last october 9th, 2013 in the municipality Los Patios (Norte de Santander).
The murderer entered the beauty salon owned by the 26 years old victim who was accompanied by a relative and shot at Cardenas Aponte. A witness who was accompanying the young man leaped on the aggressor who did not manage to escape from the place of facts.
