The 28th municipal criminal court in Bogotá with supervisory functions (control de garantías) ratified the decision made by the Court of First Instance and decided the continuity of the preventive detention order in a prison regarding Carlos Arturo Neira Yache, the legal representative of P y P Investment  who is investigated for embezzlement.

The judge emphasized that the danger to the community has not disappeared and due to the seriousness of the crimes he allegedly committed, his detention in prison is necessary.  His actions remarkably affected the heritage of Colombian citizens.

Neira Yache remains in prison since November 19, 2013, after a judge with supervisory functions (control de garantías) issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment.  Alexandro Corredori and Javier Torres Villadiego Castaño also remain in prison.
