The Specialized National Prosecutor´s Office on Assets Forfeiture (Extinción del Derecho de Dominio)1 with the support of the Metropolitan Police in Bogotá seized 66 premises in a shopping mall located at 13 street, Caracas Avenue in Bogotá where cell phones were allegedly sold.
According to Andrea Malagón, Director for Assets Forfeiture (Extinción de Dominio), the premises are worth 4 000. 000. 000 pesos and will be handed over to the Mayor´s Office in Bogotá which will develop a plan to relocate street peddlers.
