Former Councillor Hipólito Moreno offers 600 million pesos to compensate victims of “Carousel of ambulances”

Former Councillor Hipólito Moreno offered a refund of 600 million pesos during a hearing for reparation and before the 7^th Circuit Court in Bogotá who has jurisdiction over this matter (juez de conocimiento) in order to compensate  damages caused to victims of the contract called “Contrato de las ambulancias”. For this contract, he was convicted to six years and six months in prison for bribery and undue interest in the execution of contracts.
