A Court ratifies and increases a conviction for a FARC member who is a liaison for the purchase and sale of hostages

The Superior Court in Bogotá ratified a conviction and increased the sentence passed on Edith Johana Esquivel Vanegas, alias la Mona from 28 to 38 years in prison for the crimes of kidnapping for ransom, robbery and manufacture, trafficking and Illegal Firearm and Ammunition Possession.
