Preventive detention orders against six people who attacked the water conduit in Ariari were requested

Due to damages caused by terrorist attacks in the Department of Meta, among them, the water conduit in the municipality of Granada (Meta), a local Prosecutor in Villavicencio, in support of the Specialized Nacional Directorate on Terrorism requested a judge with supervisory functions (control de garantías) to issue preventive detention orders against six alleged members of the 27 and 43  FARC´s Fronts as alleged coauthors of terrorirm, rebellion, extortion, damage to property offenses.

This decision concerns Luis Jaime Contreras Cano, head of FARC´s terrorist support networks; Paola Cristina Castro Amariles, Contreras´ partner;  Jefferson Andrés Contreras Cano, Omar Castro Rey, Alcides Peña Mojica and Luis Felipe López Méndez who were found by the 12^th Army Brigade (Brigada Móvil 12 del Ejército) and Police authorities from SIJIN in possession of mobile phones used to coordinate terrorist attacks.
