Former Mayor in La Tebaida (Quindío) Maria Edy Segura Bedoya was sentenced to 34 months in prison and was barred for life from holding public office by the Third Circuit Criminal Court in Armenia. She was also ordered to pay a 8,6 million pesos fine for the offenses of misappropriation and obtaining false public documents.
