A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued against Carlos Julio Zapata Castillo by a supervisory judge “Control de Garantías” for being the alleged responsible of trafficking in substances in order to process drugs.
On august 13th, Zapata Castillo was arrested in flagrancy by Antinarcotic Police Officers on Ciudad de Cali avenue, near public library Biblioteca El Tintal while he was transporting 500 gallons of sulfuric acid, a chemical substance used to process cocaine.
