A hearing is being held to exclude from Justice and Peace Law the former commander of ( AUC)1 Golfo de Morrosquillo Front, Montes de Maria Bloc, Marcos Tulio Pérez Guzmán, alias “el Oso”.

The 54 years old “Postulado”2 known as “El Oso” was arrested on February 7th, 2004 by Colombian Marine Infantry according to investigations conducted by the National Directorate on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law for the alleged comission of conspiracy, murder and forced disappearance.
