The 47th Circuit Criminal Judge in Bogotá hearing the case (in spanish Juez de Conocimiento) reached a guilty verdict against former member of the Self Defence Forces of Colombia (AUC), Armando Lugo, alias Cabezón who will serve a sentence for the commission of procedural fraud and false testimony in consistent sequence of serial crime.
In a public hearing, the judge pointed out that according to statements made by the 7th Specialized Unit on False Witnesses it was possible to infer the responsibility of alias Cabezón for the charges brought against him.
