The 6th Circuit Criminal Court in Bogotá which has jurisdiction over this matter supported the request of the 295 Anti-corruption Prosecutor and decreed a connection between the process initiated against two colonels, the wife of a public transportation driver and the process against another five people  in the case of the murder of the young graffiti artist Diego Felipe Becerra.

The judge in his decision stated that the request of the Prosecutor in the case is admissible since there is a common connection between the cases, they have the same facts and the same victim.  He also stated that this is the proper time to continue with a single process seeking a  procedural economy.
