Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres handed over a commemorative plaque to the United States Internal Revenue Service Regional Attaché for South America, Manny J. Muriel, in recognition of his commitment, his effort and dedication to the fight against transnational economic and financial crime, as well as, strengthening of relations and cooperation between the his agency and the Attorney General’s Office.
The deputy prosecutor expressed his admiration and respect for Muriel´s work as he was one of the promoters of the newly created Economic – Financial Police at the Attorney General´s Office by which the investigating agency has brought forward important processes in the fight against crime and organized crime.
