More than 18 years in prison for the murder of a native belonging to Jiw ethnic group

The 36^th Regional Prosecutor in San José de Guaviare requested the judge hearing the case (Juez de Conocimiento) to convict Luis Enrique Gómez Gaitán for the murder of Alfonso González Rodríguez, a native belonging to Jiw ethnic group at the so called La Fuga reserve in Guaviare, along with manufacturing, trafficking and firearms possession.
