Concerning the progresses on the commitments set out by various agencies of the State, Deputy Attorney General, Jorge Torres Fernando Perdomo unveiled the specific results that have been achieved since last April in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca).
According to Deputy Attorney General, Jorge Torres Fernando Perdomo, the Attorney General´s Office has been developing a plan to strength the institution at this Colombian pacific port by the appointment of eight (8) prosecutors, two (2) sub directorates; one for victims assistance and one for Criminal Investigation Team (CTI), creation of protocols to deal with investigations specially regarding murders and dismembered corpses, a special plan for victims and witnesses protection, prioritization in cases such as disappearance and forced displacement, gender-based violence, criminal organizations dismantling and training for public servants on issues of differential ethnic focus.
