The 17th and 18th Prosecutor´s Offices specialized in Crimes Against Environment, requested a supervisory judge to issue 10 arrest warrants for the offenses of illegal mining activities and extraction of natural resources by using methods that threaten the environment. The arrests were conducted by National Police and Navy members in a rural area of Inírida (Guainía) next to Venezuela borderline.
