Four hundred and fifty seven million pesos in counterfeit currency were seized by the Technical Investigation Team (CTI) from the Attorney General Office as a result of an operation carried out at Policarpa neighborhood in the south area of Bogotá.
During this operation it was found a printing office to counterfeit money. A person was arrested. They also found homemade printing equipment, an imported lithographic printing, several rollers for printing and some printing plates with unfinished banknotes.
