The 25th Criminal Municipal Judge in Cali, with supervisory functions, issued a preventive detention order against Jose Fredy Bonilla Camacho, alias Fredy or el Ingeniero and Eduardo Villegas, aka Flaco or Eduardo to remain in a prison facility. They allegedly belong to a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking from Colombia to the United States and Australia.
The National Prosecutor Office specialized in Antinarcotics and Money Laundering with support of the National Police Antinarcotics Division and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) was able to establish through investigative activities that the criminal group used the ports of the pacific coast and Cartagena (Bolivar) to transport the substance to Panama and Mexico in motor vessels and then take it to the frontier with the aid of American drivers.
