A Presiding judge approved the plea bargain between the Prosecutor and Cristian Camilo Rincón Pérez defense. He is considered a leader of a network which trafficked with stolen cell phones between Argentina , Peru and Ecuador and responsible for the crimes of conspiracy, receiving and handling mobile phones.
According to the Regional Subdirectorate of Prosecutor Offices in Bogotá, Rincon Perez was in charge of erasing the lock of mobile phones and activate them even if they were reported at the mobile phone operator as stolen.
