The Attorney General of Nation, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, decided in a resolution that the objections filed by the Comptroller General of Nation, Sandra Morelli, are not causal to prevent the deputy Attorney can investigate by the processes used against it .

On 10 October the Comptroller had objected to the Deputy Attorney alleging (among other reasons) that she had filed a criminal complaint against her, the case went to the Supreme Court of Justice which, in turn, determined that this objection should be resolved by the Attorney General.

Meanwhile the Attorney General reviewed the facts and found that the criminal complaint which referred to the official, was filed a few days before the request for recusal and according to the regulations, to proceed this ground, , as a minimum within the criminal process must be charges formulation against the officer, and in this case did not happen that way.

For this reason the head of the accusing entity decided to not accept the objections raised by the Comptroller against the Deputy Attorney General to learn about the research currently being conducted that Office, and ordered that the knowledge of investigations against the General Comptroller of the Republic continue to head Deputy Attorney General, Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres.
