A special prosecutor from Cali (Valle del Cauca) took over the investigation to advance the work aimed at establishing who would be responsible for the attack yesterday, in the main square of the town of Pradera, Valle.
The incident occurred at nine in the morning, near the City Hall and Police Station. Two members of the security forces were injured.
Also a sectional Prosecutor and an Assistant of the Attorney-General office, attached to the Pradera unit were victims of the attack with pumpmotor, which left one person dead, several wounded and material damage as a result.
Servers of the Prosecutor’s Office presented symptoms of lightheadedness and were referred to a medical centre, where he remained under observation.
According to the information provided by the authorities, the terrorists would have used around seven kilos of Anfo and an additional explosive that potentialized the detonation, which was activated through radio frequency.
According to CTI the victim was identified as Jorge Ospina.
