Following a request from the Attorney´s Office the seventh specialized Court of Bogota sentenced to nine years in prison and a fine of 6.112 minimum legal monthly wages in force Johan Andres Niño Calderon, alias Rene, Member of the Antonio Nariño front of the Farc; for his responsibility for the crime of concert to commit a crime aggravated
Failure occurred after finish the evidentiary phase within judgment that has followed him to alias Rene, after being captured in May 2011 and accused by an Attorney of the national unity against terrorism, for the concert to commit a crime aggravated.
During the trial the prosecution was able to establish through the material evidence belonging Niño Calderon FARC group that actively participated in several military actions and extortionate.
In the process one of the witnesses said meeting with Johan Andrés Niño Calderón alias René, and told how he was with him in FARC camps, where they shared various activities and exchanged experiences in terrorist activities in Bogotá.
This testimony also was established that in August 2008, the convicted was in the camp of the rebel group located in the department of Meta, and that his knowledge of Bogota city was charged with “putting firecrackers in companies” or “organizing people to do terrorist acts” in the capital.
