On 6 December, the Superior Court of Bogotá, Hall of Justice and Peace, perform the reading of the verdict against three former paramilitaries of front Héctor Julio Peinado Becerra of the United Self Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC).
Firstly, will be known the decision about Juan Francisco Prada Márquez, alias Juancho Prada; will be known who served as paramilitary commander of that front and whom the prosecution imputed responsibility for 82 crimes, are among the 152 homicides in the South of Cesar and Ocaña in Norte de Santander.
Among those murdered by alias Juancho Prada are: the Mayor of San Calixto, Norte de Santander, Henry Alfonso Machado, the councilors of Aguachica, José Mario Saldaña Flores and Cesar Alberto Torres, the candidate for mayor of San Alberto, Cecilia Lasso Gemade and her minor daughter, and others.
To Alias Juancho Prada the 34 prosecution of the national unit of Justice and peace imputed charges for crimes: torture, kidnapping, forced displacement and disappearance, murder of protected persons, aggravated homicide, among others.
Also be known failure against Armando Madariaga Picón, alias Maria Bonita, who the prosecution imputed charges for 37 criminal acts for the crimes of: murder of protected person, extortive kidnapping, forced disappearance and displacement, receiving, theft, torture and terrorism.
For other side, is Jesus Noraldo Bastos, alias parabolico, whom the prosecution legalized charges by 33 criminal acts. This postulate is known for his contribution in the political and military strategy of the AUC, through the installation of a network of antennae that served to strengthen the communications and the creation of radio media.
All processed are deprived of freedom in Bucaramanga model prison.
