For crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime aggravated, illegal uniforms and insignias use, illegal children recruiting, murder of protected persons, murder of protected persons in attempt mode, simple kidnapping, forced disappearance, torture protected persons, qualified and aggravated theft, terrorism acts, barbarism acts and conduct constituting serious violations of international humanitarian law and serious violations of human rights, was sentenced to seven years in prison the paramilitary Hebert Velosa Garcia, alias HH.

In the Justice and Peace room of Superior Court of Bogotá was reading the judgment against this man, also known under the alias of Don Hernan, el Mono Velosa and Care pollo.

The sentence was issued against alias HH for the events when commanded “el Bloke Bananero”, of the Self- Defense Forces of Cordoba and Uraba (ACCU).

After being found guilty of such conduct, Velosa Garcia was sentenced to an accessory penalty of inability to exercise rights and public functions for a period of 20 years and the inability to possession and carry weapons for 15 years.

The judge denied the request filed by the defense for the time that alias HH has been detained in  United States responding for drug trafficking will be taken into account to meet an alternative sentence in the Justice and Peace process.

Alias “HH” also commander of the Bloque Calima and demobilized since 2004 with 447 paramilitaries, was extradited to the United States on March 5, 2009 and is currently imprisoned at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, where there was a videoconference. For acts committed when he commanded the Bloque Calima of AUC, HH expects another pronouncement by Justice and Peace court.
