During the thirty fifth version of international criminal law Conference, organized by the Universidad Externado de Colombia, the Deputy Attorney General´s Office Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres highlighted some points of the legislative act 01 of 2012, as a transitional justice mechanism, to participate in the panel discussion on development of the legal framework for peace.

In this regard the high official said to think how will develop the legal framework for peace, we should take into account all that Colombia has learned in transitional justice, illustrating this with the Justice and Peace Law.

On this legal framework, he explained that he allows select some cases and prevent impunity, under the selection criteria which must be regulated by the legislature in statutory law. “these selection criteria should point to know who are the most responsible and other connotation acts  that make necessary to the investigation because they have affected the Colombian society.

Likewise noted that to identify those most responsible can be present a series of international experiences will serve to Statutory Law, to establish how they can categorize the demobilized.
