The Office of the Attorney-General was visited by a delegation from the Organization of American States, OAS, in order to evaluate the implementation that the entity has given to the Inter-American Convention against Corruption.

The meeting, chaired by the Director of International Affairs of the Office of the Attorney General, Francisco Echeverry Lara and the head of the Anti-Corruption National Unit, Mario Montes Giraldo; was attended by the Coordinator of the Presidential Commission for transparency and the Government of Guatemala, Veronica Taracena de Velasquez; the Ethics Attorney of Costa Rica, Tatiana Delgado Gutierrez, and the legal official of the OAS, Enrique Martínez; who are members of the Committee of Evaluation.

The day that was carried out with the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia and the Secretariat of Transparency of the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia, counted on the participation of other representatives of the prosecuting entity to discuss issues such as institutional strengthening, good practice and denunciation of corruption acts, among others.
