The 19 Criminal Judge in Bogota with supervisory functions, issued a preventive detention order against  Josémiro Flores Rodríguez who was accused of trafficking, manufacturing and aggravated possession of narcotics.

The Prosecutor in charge of the case said that Flores Rodríguez was surprised in flagrance at his house, located on 72 Avenue, 73 street, Abrahán Lincoln neighborhood, locality of Kennedy, in the South of Bogota, where he kept under a bed in two suitcases and two boxes 102 kilos of high-purity cocaine and 249 million pesos in cash.

The alkaloid, which was in small packages covered with adhesive tape, was ready to be sold. Its value in the United States could be up to two thousand million pesos. The money was in a closet in 50 thousand pesos banknotes.

At the hearing, the accused did not accept the charges and he was sent to La Picota prison in  Bogotá/Colombia.
